SnapFrame
HomeA proper picture frame for any art size. The four mitred bars print on their side for crisp, wood-like layer lines and lock together with butterfly keys pressed into the back of every corner. Sides longer than your printer are split automatically and joined the same way. Printed prongs hold the art against the front lip, like a store-bought frame.

Printing tips
- Bars print lying on their outer edge, face vertical — that's what gives the fine, wood-like layer texture. No supports.
- Lay the bars face-down, push the corners together and press a butterfly key into each pocket on the back until it clicks. The snap bumps lock it; glue is optional.
- New printer or filament? Tick “Fit-test sample corner” and print that first. If the key won't go in, raise the key tolerance by 0.05 mm; if it doesn't click, lower it.
- Put the art in from the back, then press the prongs into their slots so they hold it against the lip.
- To hang it: put a screw in the wall leaving the head ~4 mm proud, fit the big end of the keyhole over it and slide the frame down.
- Wood-fill or matte PLA looks best. 2 walls and 15% infill is plenty.
