About Layerista
A good barista takes the same beans and makes each cup exactly how you like it. Layerista does that for 3D prints: proven models, made yours — layer by layer. Be your own Layerista.
Why it exists
Personalised prints — name keychains, signs, cake toppers, tags — are some of the best-selling things a 3D printer can make. But making each one in CAD software is slow, and most people with a printer aren't CAD designers. Layerista turns that into a few seconds of typing and picking colours.
Who it's for
- Print farms and small shops that make personalised products every day.
- Makers who want a gift that looks professionally designed.
- Anyone with a printer who would rather print than model.
How it works
- A real CAD engine runs inside your browser, so the model updates as you type and nothing waits on a server.
- Every model is built to print well: one-piece outlines, sensible wall thicknesses, keyring holes sized for standard split rings, and a size check for your printer.
- Downloads are multi-colour 3MF files with each colour as its own part (ready for AMS and other multi-material systems), or plain STL.
- Colours are matched to real filaments, so what you pick is what you can buy.
Built on open source
Layerista stands on great open-source work: the Manifold geometry engine (Apache 2.0), three.js for the 3D preview (MIT), Lucide icons (ISC), and open-licensed fonts — Poppins, Pacifico, Lobster, Archivo Black, DynaPuff and Bebas Neue (SIL Open Font License) and Luckiest Guy and Chewy (Apache 2.0).
Say hello
Layerista is an independent project and still in beta, so feedback really shapes it. Tell us what you print and what you'd like next on the contact page.
